Today’s Daily Dose of Dead is a perfect mellow song for Saturday morning. This is “Althea” from the September 6, 1979 show at MSG in NYC.
The dead had just busted out this excellent new tune a month before and this is just the 6th performance of the song.
Pretty much a textbook set-list for ‘79 but solid from start to finish. Jerry is in fine vocal voice.
